TAA is a member of Airports Council International (ACI). ACI is an international association of the world's airports structured in six geographical regions: Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America/Caribbean, North America, and the Pacific with established headquarters in Geneva and regional offices in Cairo, New Delhi, Brussels, Caracas, Washington D.C. and Vancouver. One of the main objectives of ACI is to achieve a high degree of cooperation among all segments of the aviation industry and their stake holders as well as with governments. ACI seeks to maximize airports contributions to maintaining and developing a safe, secure, environmentally compatible, efficient and prospering air transport system. ACI serves its members by providing them with industry knowledge to further professional excellence in airport management and operations.
The ACI Africa Region Assembly and Conference is an annual event hosted by one of the member countries. The main objective of this event is to bring together regular and partner members of the continent to discuss and share industry experiences and knowledge and have common policies for promoting professional excellence in airport management and operations and to stimulate business development.
Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) has been selected to host the ACI Africa Regional Annual Conference 2007 to be held in Arusha at Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge in November, 2007.
The event will bring together about 250 delegates from the African Continent and Europe and the rest of the world, in particular airport operators and other stakeholders in the aviation sector such as suppliers and airline operators. This event is expected to be the largest gathering of aviation experts in Tanzania; hence you will therefore agree with us that this is a great opportunity for your company to promote itself.
